PLEASE don't just skip by this...What we believe is never just theological. It becomes personal. It shapes how we love, how we endure, how we lead, how we forgive, and how we live when life gets heavy.

And what we value will always show up in the way we spend our time, our attention, our energy, and our worship.

If our beliefs are rooted in truth and our values are formed by God’s heart, our lives will reflect Him in a way that is real and lasting.

Lord, shape our hearts until what we believe and what we value looks more like You.

You can not kill a w**d by just mowing the lawn. It looks clean for a few days, but underneath the soil, the root is already pushing the w**d back up to the surface. We often treat our anxiety the exact same way. We try to cut down the visible symptoms. We manage our schedules, try to control our environments, and attempt to force ourselves to just stop worrying. But fear is not the root. Fear is just what grows on the surface when a false belief has taken root in our hearts. If we secretly believe that God is not in control, that our worth is tied to our success, or that we are completely on our own, anxiety will always grow back. True healing begins when we stop cutting the leaves and start digging up the roots. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the hidden beliefs causing the fear, and let His truth replace them.

Think of anxious feelings like a check engine light on a dashboard. The light isn't the actual engine problem, but it’s alerting you to look deeper. Anxiety often flares up when something we value deeply feels threatened, our family, our future, or our sense of security.

Instead of just trying to force the feeling to stop, what if we pause and bring it to God in prayer? Let's ask:

"Lord, what am I truly believing in this moment?"

"What do I feel is being threatened?"

God wants to do a work of complete healing in your life. He is not just looking to treat the surface feeling; He wants to bring peace to the root of the issue.
