Movement in Faith

Movement in Faith Movement in Faith The current justice movement is a people's movement and it will take all of us to actively fight with marginalized communities. And we will.

Movement in Faith strives to support communities of faith to identify their intersection in social justice as well as be a positive faith presence in justice movement. There is a place in movement work for you and for your faith community. If you need support in identifying that place and becoming an active part in movement contact us and we will provide in person training, infrastructure, and lon

g term support for your efforts. We can pray together. We can also move together. And we must! Together, let's make faith a verb and a noun.

Grateful for Dr. Gina M. Stewart’s Bible study teaching at Christ Missionary Baptist Church about evil that led to my strong sermonic assertion that “evil SHOULD NOT be so comfortable”

Should not be so comfortable in our hearts
Should not be so comfortable in our organizations
Should not be so comfortable in our homes
Should not be so comfortable in our local, regional, and national policies and policymakers

Should. Not.

So as we continue to journey together, how are we rooting out evil with deep and abiding love, fierce and expansive inclusion, and an unwavering honoring of the humanity of the image bearers of God?

God will give you strength to match your days and strength to match the assignment. 🙌🏾

“In this courageous act of love, I shall honor the legacy of those who came before me and pave the way for those who will follow, knowing that in the dance of womanist reparations, we shall find the path to healing, deep and loving community, and the wisdom to create a future that embraces Black womxn with love, grace, and abundance.”
