We are an LGBTQ+ welcoming community. We worship Sundays . On this corner for a reason since 1924. Peace Lutheran Memphis is a congregation often referred to as “small, but mighty” in the heart of Midtown Memphis. Our community is laid back. Our worship style is traditional. We boldly open our space to all people, celebrating a community created by persons without regard to race, color, gende
r, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, or age. We are teachers, lawyers, professors, clerks, home-makers, IT specialists, and students. We laugh a lot, eat donuts after worship, and value our Lutheran heritage. Our building is at the corner of Willet and Jackson, an established diverse neighborhood in Memphis. The congregation was integrated in May of 1978. We continue to seek ways to welcome all of our neighbors. We worship together on Sundays at 10:00am.
