Dear White Stone Friends and Members:
Good afternoon and hope you are staying cool. Of course, we should be thankful for the heat. Sister Barbara Hawkins' sister, Teresa Baker Atkinson, passed away during the week. Her funeral will be at White Stone next Saturday @11 am. The body may be viewed between10 to 10:55 am just before the funeral services. The fellowship meal and the burial will be in Arkansas. On Monday, August 31, a graveside ceremony for Mr. Richard Greer will held at West Tennessee Veteran's Cemetery @1 pm. He was the brother of Sister Classie Greer Smith. The Lord's Supper will be observed tomorrow during worship. Because of unforeseen events, the mid-year business meeting will be moved to September 13 right after worship. Although it is hot, hope to see for the Holy Communion tomorrow at 11 am. The sermon text is Luke 23:33-34 and the theme is "Christ's Forgiving Power is Priceless."
