Happy Trans Day of Visibility! Today is a day to recognize, honor, and affirm the lives, contributions, and resilience of transgender people. It is both a celebration of visibility and a call to action because visibility without safety, access, and dignity is not enough.

At Remnant Community Outreach, we understand that transgender individuals, especially in the South, navigate layered realities shaped by policy, healthcare access, housing instability, and violence. Our commitment is rooted in human justice: ensuring that visibility translates into protection, care, and real-life outcomes.

We do this by:

Advancing policy awareness so communities understand how legislation directly impacts transgender lives
Creating affirming spaces through conversations like Faith Unfiltered that center dignity, belonging, and truth
Providing education and training through Common Code to equip communities, leaders, and institutions to respond with accountability and care

Today, we don’t just see transgender people, we stand with them.
