We are alllll the way in the back so it’s quite hard to find us, but this picture gives a great perspective of just how many ringers were at the International Handbell festival! Between 600-700 ringers, which includes the conductors that guided us through each song.

The Praise Ringers will be at the Rosemary House Fairy Festival this year! We will be serving a selection of foods including hotdogs, snacks, fruits, and fairy-sized desserts. Flutter by September 12 and 13 to the Rosemary House gardens to enjoy a wonderful fairy weekend with your kids or grandkids!

Another clip from the symposium. This was a challenging piece to learn, yet was super fun when it came together. This is Tai Mo Shan arranged by Wong Chu Pang, Hermes and conducted by Joyce Lo. A piece that is dedicated to climbing the Tai Mo Shan mountain, this clip specifically shows when you are ascending and encounter the many acres of farm land on the mountain with cattle on the land.

Going back a few weeks to the International Handbell Symposium, this is a clip from the concert. Please enjoy Highland Blessing arranged by Derek K. Hakes and conducted by Sandra Winter from the Handbell Ringers of Great Britain. This was one of our favorite pieces!

We are so thankful for our tour guide Richard, and our bus driver Derek (and Derek’s father Derek Sr.) for toting us around Scotland. Richard had infinite knowledge of the Scottish history and countryside, and Derek was an amazing driver who got us everywhere we wanted to go, in a very large bus! Very appreciative of these men for making our trip fabulous.

Thanks for keeping us in your thoughts! All people are safe and finally in the States. We have a collection of luggage including some bell cases that are stuck abroad. Please continue to keep everything in your thoughts and prayers for a safe journey for the luggage.

We’ll have some more posts about the trip coming in the next few days, the trip may be over but the memories aren’t! So look forward to some of those after we’ve recovered from the jet lag 😴
