Message: “The Remarkable, Undeserved Grace of God Teaches…!”
Titus 2:11–15

Introduction.
The “pale blue dot that is earth” image sent by Voyager 1 in 1990
Sagan wrote of the image: “That’s here. That’s home. That’s us. On it everyone you love, everyone you now, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives… on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.”
In this huge universe God cared enough to come and give us grace.

I. - v. 11 …”the grace of God”…
“For the [remarkable, undeserved] grace of God that brings salvation”… (Amp)

John 3:16 - for all peoples

II. - v. 12a - “Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lust” (passions)
“We are being shown how to turn our backs on a godless, indulgent live” (TMG)

Galatians 5:19 - 21 – “The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions, and envy; drunkenness, or**es, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.”(NIV)
Romans 1: 21–32

III. - v12b - …” and to live self-controlled, upright and godly, lives in this present age
…”we should live discreetly and righteously and godly in this present age,”… (Literal Translation)

IV. Transformed Motives - v. 14c …,”eager to do what is good.”
Ephesians 4:22–24 “to put off your former way of life, your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be renewed in the spirit of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.”

Conclusion.
Do you desire to live a godly life in this present age?

Exalted for You or brought low by You.

Acts 2:1-4, Acts 7, Acts 7:51

1. We need to balance our understanding.

But to give a spotlight on God the Father and God the Son
2. Even though the day of Pentecost was amazing and powerful, the Holy Spirit did not come to say look at Me!!!
3. That being said, we have to be careful in our response to the Holy Spirit.
I. Acts 7 - Stephen Speaks of Resistance to the Holy Spirit to the Sanhedrin
• 1st-Stephen recounts the History of the Children of Israel
• Then in Conclusion (V. 51b) - Stephen states, “You are just like your ancestors: You always resist the Holy Spirit!”
