Hey McKinney! We know it's hard to find your people as an adult. We want to plug you into a community of people who will love you, support you, and help you grow. We'd love to meet you and introduce ourselves!

We'll be out at Finch Park in McKinney on Wednesday night from 5:30-7:30. We'll have drinks and dessert available for you free of charge, no obligation. We just want the opportunity to bless our community. If you wish, we'll even pray with you!

Feel free to come and go as you need. We'll be there with our kids, so bring yours too! Come and hang out with us and bring a picnic dinner if you want to stay awhile!

We are so excited to announce our first Encounter Night is Wednesday, 2/25 at 6pm! Join us at Collective Coffee in McKinney as we gather together to encounter God with community.

What can I expect at Encounter Night?
We believe that we ultimately become like what we worship. At Encounter Nights, our goal is to abide, dwell, and linger in God's presence as we worship him. We will sing songs of worship, spend time in prayer, hear a transformative word from scripture, and share communion together.

Who is Encounter For?
Encounter is for anyone who seeks to encounter Jesus in fresh ways rooted in the ancient practices of the church. We are an intergenerational group, so all are welcome, kids and grownups alike! There is a seat at the table for you.

Who is leading Encounter?
Pastor Nate Carlson, his wife, Haley, and a small core team have been gathering together for prayer and fellowship in preparation for this new ministry. Nate is a pastor at McKinney GMC, but you don't have to be a Methodist to come to Encounter. We want to create a culture of tables, not stages, so if you come, we'll soon put you to work using YOUR spiritual gifts for the good of all!

Hey new friends! We wanted to introduce ourselves again. Our goal is to take the Book of Acts seriously and to be a community that really practices Acts 2:42!
