History of the Valley Pike COB which is located between Woodstock and Maurertown, VA
Our heritage in the Shenandoah Valley began as the Woodstock Congregation which organized in 1827 and met at the Oak Grove Meeting House located east of the present church and nearer to the North Fork of the Shenandoah River. After some years apparently the Oak Grove Meeting House was not large enough for the atte

ntance, and the Valley Pike Church was built and dedicated in 1877. Many faithful and self-sacrificing members have shared in the growth of this church. Praise God for the strong foundation we have been given.
