Just wanted to show you this super great little kitchen we did--along with Mike, of course!--for our church. It's amazing what a can of hammered copper spray paint can do for drawer pulls! So, PRO TIP: if you can't find the pulls you want--or you want to update the pulls you already have, try painting them! You'll have to remove them first tho! Take the screws and a drill, screw them into a thin board (or even plywood, but cut the plywood into board widths--it will make it easier to handle and inspect), and then mount the pulls to the screws just enough to hold them firmly--don't go all the way down. Then set up a spray booth (easily done with a big box, utilizing three sides and the bottom), and carefully spray them evenly. (Make sure to wear a mask!) After they dry, do a second coat. It's amazing how many great options for color that you can find on the shelf of a good paint store or home supply. Have fun and create a showstopper! And make sure to send us your pics!
This is seriously the cutest little church kitchen ever! (Sorry for the wonky angle: it's a small kitchen with a huge cement post in the middle! So, yeah, we're trying to show you the whole thing...minus the post!) {Thanks to Scott Speck for the great deal on very high-quality cabinets!!}
