Food pantry organizers said that although items get donated multiple times a day, the pantry usually ends up empty by the end of the night.

It really doesn't take a lot to make an ordinary cabinet extraordinary! Brad designed and created this shelving unit to accommodate two microwaves in our church's small kitchen, though it could easily serve multiple functions within a home.

Just wanted to show you this super great little kitchen we did--along with Mike, of course!--for our church. It's amazing what a can of hammered copper spray paint can do for drawer pulls! So, PRO TIP: if you can't find the pulls you want--or you want to update the pulls you already have, try painting them! You'll have to remove them first tho! Take the screws and a drill, screw them into a thin board (or even plywood, but cut the plywood into board widths--it will make it easier to handle and inspect), and then mount the pulls to the screws just enough to hold them firmly--don't go all the way down. Then set up a spray booth (easily done with a big box, utilizing three sides and the bottom), and carefully spray them evenly. (Make sure to wear a mask!) After they dry, do a second coat. It's amazing how many great options for color that you can find on the shelf of a good paint store or home supply. Have fun and create a showstopper! And make sure to send us your pics!

Just so you know what we've been up to when we're not at a customer's home! Mike and I are hoping to make huge headway at our church this week...we have a fairly big project starting next week!

We're moving right along in the kitchen! We had hoped to put off purchasing the stoves until later, when we can actually use them--since current church regulations restrict food/beverage prep. However, our Fire Marshall needs to see them installed so he can sign off on our inspection, for it ensures him that we will not install stoves with cooktops at a later date, which would violate our particular Fire Code. (Reason: if we have a stovetop, we may fry something in grease, and that would require a whole different level of Fire Code...if I fully understood Brad correctly.) Anyway, stop on by!

So, we all know that sometimes Brad isn't that great about getting me pictures. But I stumbled across this shot of a super cute bathroom, located off the master of a '50s bungalow, that I designed (the bathroom, not the bungalow! ha!) and Brad (along with Mike Greever of Homeworx by Mike) re-built (decayed joists caused dangerous sinkage). Anyway, it is such a darling little space now! And Safe!!
