I may be the founder but it became real after I surrendered my life to the Lord Jesus completely. It was my intention not to reveal my name at all because I did not want to impede the ministry in any way. But in church today and then this afternoon, the Lord revealed to me that by being transparent about who I am it would reveal that he is in the heart and life changing business. The last two yea
rs of my 30 year career was the most difficult I had ever faced. I faced them without relying on Jesus and I didn't almost lose the battle but nearly lost the war. The devil had his way in my mind and heart and I got my spiritual butt handed to me over and over again. I let my brothers and sisters I worked down, I let my family down, and most importantly I failed my Lord miserably. I was a very poor example of a Christian to say the least. I bought into the devil's lies and I had so much resentment and hatred in my heart for some people and close to the end of my career spent two different afternoons fighting the urge to end my life. I don't mean considering it I mean fighting the urge and nearly going through with it. Like I said, I got beat down by the devil. Then in the first part of July I attended the memorial service of Andy Molatch who had a love for Jesus that was so amazing. God had impressed upon me prior to that evening to start this ministry and I came up with every excuse possible. As I sat there in Andy's service, 48 people came to Christ and that is what Andy lived for, to Glorify the Lord Jesus. I surrendered myself completed to him and answered his call to begin this ministry to reach law enforcement professionals both active and retired for Jesus. So if you knew me before then you can see I am living proof that God can completely change you and give the Holy Spirit to take up residence in your heart and then consume you with a passion to reach people for him. I'm not talking about a feeling or emotion I am talking about wanting everyone you meet to have a love for Jesus. Yes life is hard, yes life as a law enforcement officer can be brutal unless you have a relationship with Jesus. The Holy Spirit ministering to you while you do his work. How many of you are Police Officers and really can't explain it other than you just weren't meant to do anything else? That is explained this way, you were called by God to be a law enforcement professional. It doesn't matter if you are on the line, in the detective bureau, communications, records, or any other position. You are a peacemaker and the Bible says that you are the children of God. I am not the same person many people knew. I am a new creation in Christ. I am forgiven, washed clean and pressed into his service. Look at me as an example of the power, mercy, and love of God. Don't view this page or ministry and think of Bill Connell as the person who is bringing the word, but a sold out slave to Jesus. On August 28, 2014, I was ordained as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus. I am grateful for this calling and I intend to dedicate my life to his service. Let him minister to you through this page.
