I call this one: “Ministry at MCHS”

In these pics is 3 really cool things going on with FCA at Martin County High school.

Me and a former FCA staff came out to speak to and prayer over the MCHS football team at the pregame dinner! (We’ll be doing this every week until the end of the season)

After that is our campus huddle currently lead by 2 volunteers and a student. We meet every week on Wednesday :)

Finally a few weeks ago Alexis held a coaches breakfast where we got to cast vision of FCA with all the coaches at MCHS! Lots of great connections formed there!!

You know the ministry is growing when you stop having leftover donuts and start getting more Dunkin’ rewards points than ever….😂

Had more girls than ever at the huddle at Stuart middle school this morning!! (There were lots more not pictured)

In fact, in general, this huddle is growing in number every week! I remember last semester in the spring we just started with four boys that I encouraged to invite their friends. Some weeks it would be just those four, some weeks they’d bring a few friends, some weeks there were less. Overall, though it was mostly young men, and I was hoping the Lord would bring some girls too!

This week He answered my prayers, and we had the largest group of both girls and guys. Over 15 students came out to hear the Word before school!

I am so encouraged! May the Lord keep bringing His children to FCA to hear his Word and be in fellowship with other believers :)

Yo I love these kids!! A bunch of young evangelists here 🙌🏼😁 this morning we talked about God’s love for us and using “The Four” to share the gospel (❤️➗✝️❓). Then we handed out some bracelets and they took some for their friends to tell them how God loves them and invite them to FCA this week!! God is good!!

This year we had our 1st huddle of the year at MCHS!! Owen (first on my right) is going into his senior year and shared a powerful devotional this morning about being a light on campus and making sure to get into regular fellowship with believers. I’m so grateful that God has led me to focus this year on deeper discipleship of athletes, and challenging them to take a leadership role as a way to grow their faith. I love FCA!!

1st huddle of the year at JBHS!! Student leaders Carolina and Logan shared their testimonies & then we broke into small groups to get to know each other and then pray!

We are calling this huddle “United for Jensen” because we are partnering with First Priority for this huddle. Students from FCA and First Priority club will come together this year to grow in their relationship with Jesus.

I love this huddle. Excited to see how the Lord moves this year ❤️😊

LAST HUDDLE OF THE YEAR AT JBHS!!

Here is one testimony that our student huddle leader, Carolina sent to me after one our mornings.

"One of the girls who came this morning said that she thinks that message was for her! God is so intentional! She was saying how just this last week she’s been scared of death and how she was really encouraged this morning that she doesn’t need to fear because eternity with Jesus brings security!!"

This is just one amazing testimony of many we hear every year of the way that Jesus speaks to these kids in our huddles.

One of my favorite things about the huddle at JBHS: it's almost entirely student-led! 🙌 Seeing these incredible young leaders take charge, grow in their faith, and impact their peers is truly inspiring. The power of student leadership in FCA is amazing! So proud to be a part of this movement.

This week is the LAST week of huddles at South Fork High School!!

My favorite part about this group in particular is... they ask the deepest questions. They are not afraid to be honest with me and Hans about what they're confused on or where they have doubts in their faith in God. And that to me is where growth happens.

2 of their questions I can remember off the top of my head that show this:

1. "I'm kind of scared heaven will be boring. What are we going to do for eternity? Is it weird that scares me?"

2. "If Jesus forgives our sins, why don't we just keep sinning?"

I love it so much because we have such good conversations about faith that get to the heart of what they're REALLY thinking.

As I've mentioned I'm fundraising for the next school year! Unlike other schools we can't bring food into South Fork, so our biggest expenses to run this huddle come down to buying kids Bibles. My biggest dream for South Fork High would be to form relationships with 2 women's sports teams and have discipleship relationships with them. With full funding I can focus on this!

This semester has truly been amazing leading the FCA huddle at Martin County High School. This week was our last huddle until August, and I'm blown away by the ways God has moved in the hearts of these young men. But I need your help to keep it going strong! Today was our last FCA huddle at Jensen Beach High School for the school year and it's been incredible to see how these athletes have grown in their faith. From sharing testimonies to praying together, it's been a blessing to witness the impact of this ministry.

I'm grateful to have 1 faithful sponsor supporting this huddle at $10 a month, which will buy donuts for this huddle for the next school year.
