Does your child love singing? Our Youth Schola sings for Father Marquette Catholic Academy PK-8 school Masses each week on Friday mornings 8am during the school year at Saint Peter Cathedral. This is an excellent opportunity for children 2nd grade - 12th grade to participate! The word "Schola" (PRONOUNCED "SCH - OH - LAH") stems from a Latin term meaning "school of singers" who specialize in Gregorian Chant (church music) and historically connects way back to the first singers who were trained at the Sistine Chapel in Rome! Consider bringing your child for a brief 10-minute audition with Diocesan Director of Sacred Music, Mr. O'Brien, to try out!
