Hey fam! Next Monday Huntington University is hosting a Family Friendly Fun Day at Drake Goetz Park from noon-3pm!

HU's Occupational Therapy students will provide field-day activities for children and youth of all ages! They will also provide snacks and water.

On Sunday we heard a heartfelt request to meet a simple, practical need that is close to home, and close to our hearts. Josiah White's helps children, teens, and families in crisis with many beneficial services (see link below for details). They are currently a home to 90 children and teens in crisis, and the high turnover rate means that these children are often traveling for weekend visits and to new facilities with their belongings stuffed into a trash bag.😢
This is where we get to step in and help! For your reference, a quality, yet inexpensive, duffle bag can range in price from about $10-$20.

1. We can donate NEW or GENTLY USED duffle bags or small travel suitcases to the church over the next several Sundays.

2. We can donate funds toward this effort, and our shoppers will search out the best deals on quality duffle bags/travel bags.

3. We can pray for these children as they await their next move - to foster care, back home, or to another facility. Childhood shouldn't come with these challenges, but it's a reality for so many.

4. And we can pray for more solutions. This might be an invitation for you to explore other ways to help...

Put Psalms, Hymns, & Spiritual Songs vol 14 on your calendar!🎼

Friday, August 28th, we have a fantastic lineup and it's sure to grow your love of local & regional independent Christian music artists and their unique, faith-inspired music!

This event is not a worship night, but it is always meant to put God on display. If that incites worship...we're here for it!

This event is not an open mic night. Artists are booked in advance and often travel a distance to be a part of it. If you, or someone you know, is interested in being featured, hit up Daniel First to get that set up.

This event IS an opportunity to put God in the spotlight through an individual's talents, skills, and gifts. We recognize that music is not the only form of art that God inspires, and we want to give a platform for other faith-inspired creative arts. If that's more your speed - send over a picture, video, or other sample of your artistry along with a bio. We would love to consider giving you a platform!
