So much fun at The Village Table this morning! And, even better? No one has to figure out what to make for dinner tonight! Perfect weather for Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup. Next week we'll be making Crock Pot Spaghetti Sauce. We hope you'll join us! This is a weekly event for the Marion Community by the Marion Community. :-)

What is The Village Table? People helping people. :-) We all have something we can share to build each other up. What we do and how we do it will evolve as we all learn from each other. The first need/want seems to be meal prep. So we are starting there. We'll spend our time prepping a crock pot recipe and sending it home. So, bring your crock pots and join us! Recipe ingredients are provided. Don't have a crock pot? We have a few that we can provide at no cost. Tomorrow's recipe (August 26, 2026) is Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup! Yum!

Very excited to come together with the community in our new adventure - The Village Table. We worked with teachers at the school to develop this idea and are looking forward to getting started.

Our final free Family Movie Night is Tuesday, 8/11 at 7:00. Doors open at 6:30. Popcorn and lemonade are provided. If you've never seen "How to Eat Fried Worms" you're in for a treat. Great middle school humor. 😉😃 Come join the fun!!

Rain or shine, the Marion UMC youth group Bake Sale is on!!! Come find us today during Old-Fashion Days. Our table is near Flemming Clothing. Lots of home-made goodies - cinnamon rolls, 7-Layer bars, brownies, cookies and muffins!!
