We had a great Bible Study Wednesday evening!
Bro. Les gave a shared some good points on:

'CELEBRATING JESUS!'
We should and need to take time....DAILY.....to thank Jesus for ALL HE HAS DONE in our lives!
How often do we just take time to thank Him....not ask for anything....just thank Him....for all He has done....all He has given.....all the prayers He has listened to.....just thank Him for everything?
He has blessed each and every one of us in so many, many ways that it would be impossible to name them all.
But....ask yourself....honestly.....do you even try to thank Him....celebrate Him....just for what all He has done today?
He is so worthy of our time and praise!

Isaiah 41:10 NIV
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
Psalm 118:14 NIV
"The Lord is my strength and my defense; He has become my salvation."
Psalm 40:3 NIV
"He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in Him."
The song of God needs to be sung today!
He is worthy of celebrating.....you have His Salvation! Praise God!
Psalm 139:13 NIV
"For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother's womb."
God knows you....and loves you!
Philippians 1:6 NIV
"Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."
He has ALWAYS BEEN FAITHFUL!
He knows me and LOVES ME!
He is OUR GOD!
He is worthy of CELEBRATING!
He is worthy of our PRAISE AND GLORY!

Have we become so comfortable and complacent that we don't sing His praises and glorify Him and thank Him?

God bless!

What a blessing it is to gather in the House of the Lord to sing praises to Him.....hear His Holy Word preached....and worship together!
PRAISE THE NAME OF THE LORD!
Garry, Daniel and Oleta played their instruments as they sang and Garry led the congregation in singing songs of praise.
We were so very blessed to have Cyrus Gardner sing the special for us! This young and faithful servant of God has been blessed with such a deep and beautiful voice! What a testimony he is! Thank you, so much, Cyrus, for your song!
Bro. Les brought the sermon:
'ENDURE'
Hebrews 10:19-25 NIV

'AS THE BODY OF CHRIST, WE MUST CONTINUE TO WORSHIP THE LORD'
Psalm 100 NIV
"Shout for the joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations."
Psalm 96:9 NIV
"Worship the Lord in the splendor of His holiness; tremble before Him, all the earth."

'AS THE BODY OF CHRIST, WE MUST CONTINUE TO FELLOWSHIP WITH THE LORD AND ONE ANOTHER'
John 1:3-4 NIV
"We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ. We write this to make our joy complete."

'AS THE BODY OF CHRIST, WE MUST CONTINUE THE DISCIPLESHIP PROCESS IN THE LIVES OF BELIEVERS'
Ephesians 4:12-13 NIV
".......to equip His people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ."

'AS THE BODY OF CHRIST, WE MUST CONTINUE THE MINISTRY ASPECT OF THE CHURCH TO REACH OUR WORLD FOR CHRIST'
'Are you too busy to be about MINISTRY in your life?
We should all find time to reach out to others in a way that it meets a need that they have.
Sometimes....in the church.....we leave the "MINISTRY" up to a FEW.
This should not be.'
2 Timothy 4:9-13 NIV
"Do your best to come to me quickly, for Demas, because he loved this world, has deserted me and has gone to Thessalonica. Crescens has gone to Galatia, and Titus to Damatia. Only Luke is with me. Get Mark and bring him with you, because he is helpful to me in my ministry. I sent Tychicus to Ephesus. When you come, bring the cloak that I left with Carpus at Troas, and my scrolls, especially the parchments."
'Ministry is a shared concept. It is not left up to a few, but it is given to be a shared process. So often we will read in the scriptures where 'God gave some to be......And others to be......' so that....TOGETHER.....they could accomplish a greater task.'
'Today, God would desire that we "FORSAKE NOT THE MINISTRY THAT GOD HAS GIVEN US HERE."
'Just imagine the testimony God would get if we each began to minister to the needs of others in our community.'

'AS THE CHURCH WE MUST NOT GIVE UP 'THE MEETING TOGETHER' IN REACHING OTHERS THROUGH EVANGELISM'
Matthew 28:19 NIV
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations."

This is the MOST OVERLOOKED passage in the Bible:
'THEREFORE GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS'

God bless!

I've loved this poem ever since I heard it on the Porter Wagoner Show...many years ago. It's long, but....oh....so worth reading:
******************************************************************
IF JESUS CAME TO YOUR HOUSE,
TO SPEND SOME TIME WITH YOU
by Lois Blanchard Eades

If Jesus came to your house to spend a day or two,
If he came unexpectedly, I wonder what you'd do.
Oh, I know you'd give your nicest room to such an honored Guest,
And all the food you'd serve to Him would be the very best.
And you’d keep assuring Him that you're glad to have Him there,
That serving Him in your own home is joy beyond compare.

But, when you saw Him coming, would you meet Him at the door...
With arms outstretched in welcome to your heavenly Visitor?
Or would you have to change your clothes before you let Him in?
Or hide some magazines and put the Bible where they'd been?
Would you turn off the radio and hope He hadn't heard?
And wish you hadn't uttered that last, loud, hasty word?

Would you hide your worldly music and put some hymn books out?
Could you let Jesus walk right in, or would you rush about?
And I wonder if the Savior spent a day or two with you,
Would you go right on doing the things you always do?
Would you go right on saying the things you always say?
Would life for you continue as it does from day to day?

Would your family conversation keep up its usual pace?
And would you find it hard each meal to say a table grace?
Would you sing the songs you always sing, and read the books you read,
And let him know the things on which your mind and spirit feed?
Would you take Jesus with you everywhere you'd planned to go?
Or would you, maybe, change your plans for just a day or so?

Would you be glad to have Him meet your very closest friends?
Or would you hope they'd stay away until His visit ends?
Would you be glad to have Him stay forever on and on?
Or would you sigh, with great relief, when He at last was gone?
It might be interesting to know the things that you would do....
If Jesus Christ, in person, came to spend some time with you.

Sunday was another great day in the House of the Lord.....gathering together, worshiping Him in songs of love and praise, hearing His Holy Word preached.
What a blessing, indeed!
Thank you to our visitors who worshiped with us. We hope you were blessed and felt God's Love.
Garry and Daniel played the guitars and Oleta played the piano as they led the congregation in some beautiful songs.
I love to hear the messages in old hymns and songs that give praise, honor and glory to our Lord and Savior!

Bro. Les brought the sermon:

'OUR WORK FOR THE LORD IS VALUABLE'

1 Corinthians 15:58 NIV
"Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm.
Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain."

1.) THE WORK THAT GOD DESIRES TO ACCOMPLISH ALWAYS INVOLVES US.
"......Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm."

2.) IN ORDER TO ACCOMPLISH THIS WORK, WE MUST STAND FIRM AND BE OBEDIENT TO GOD!
"......Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm."

3.) AS FOLLOWERS OF HIS, WE MUST CHOOSE TO GIVE OURELVES FULLY TO THE WORK OF THE LORD.
".....Always give yourselves full to the work of the Lord."

4.) WE NEED TO COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND THAT OUR WORK IN THE LORD IS DONE WITH GREAT RESULTS!
".........because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain."

May God richly bless each and every one!
