Ice cream truck, servicing Southern Brevard County amd Northern Indian River County in Florida! �?

Two weeks ago, I made the announcement that I would be selling the ice cream van. It’s been rough on this end. I never realized how nasty people can be when they want something. I have encountered some truly horrible people during the past 2 weeks, but also some amazingly wonderful people. I could’ve sold this to anyone, probably within a day or 2, but because it is so important to me, wanted to make sure it ended up in good hands. Someone who shared the same excitement I do. One nice young man was trying and trying, and I was really rooting for him, but the financing didn’t come through. As it turns out, apparently things happen for a reason (and I’m sure when it’s his time- something amazing will come along)
It makes me a little bit less sad, to know that this wonderful family will be using my dream, to help theirs grow. (And in case anyone is wondering, we requested that they make trips through Barefoot Bay when they’re ready!) I’m excited for the memories they will make together in their new adventures and so blessed to be able to say I made some new amazing new friends in the process. (I’ll put a link to their page in the comments if you’d like to follow them!)

This is a very hard post for me to be making, but I hope you all take the time to read.

It is with a heavy heart that I have come to the decision to sell, and move on to something else. This has truly been a labor of love for me, and I have been honored to meet so many amazingly wonderful people throughout the (short) journey your smiles have meant so much to me.

This adventure began as a way to bring a bit of happiness in an otherwise troubling time, however we have decided that that the stress of meeting with continuous opposition and harassment from the community in which we live is too much.

Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart, for sharing this chapter, you will all always have a place in my heart.

Good morning!!! We will be spending this week trying to help The Barefoot Bay pickle ball club collect toys for Toys for Tots! If you see us coming down your street and bring a new unwrapped toy, we will give you a free treat! (Only one free treat per family please) The marines will be collecting donation bins on Friday 12/10 so we need them before them! Let’s all work together and make the holiday a little bit brighter for kids in need!!!

We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! If you’re out in Sebastian today, braving the Black Friday crowds- don’t forget to stop by The Biker Shak and see us! We’ll be there with our friends shortly after 1:30 and be there for about an hour!!

The past two years have been like no others in our recent memory. Many have been struggling through the Covid-19 pandemic since it began, 2021 brought relief and a sense of normalcy back to some, but definitely nowhere close to all. Previous years many families have depended on layaway to provide their families with gifts, and even that is becoming a thing of the past.
I truly believe times like this are when communities need to come together and lift each other up. If anyone is able, and would like to “adopt a family’ in Barefoot Bay, to help during the holidays, please send a message and I will gladly pair you up with a family who be truly appreciative.
If you live in Barefoot Bay, and are a family in need, you can also reach out to me, and I will put your family’s name on my list. (Please keep in mind- this is no guarantee for help- it is entirely dependent on how much of a response I get with this idea)

I want to add, I will not be handing anything more than matching an “adopter to an adoptee” I feel like this is an opportunity for you to get to meet the people you are helping, and quite possibly make a new friend in the process!

If you’re looking for a unique gift idea for your favorite little truck chaser- consider a shirt they can color themselves, wear, wash and color again!! (I mean they need something for in between weekly visits!)
Current colors available are green, purple and red!
$12 for shirt alone if you want to use your own washable markers, or $15 with markers included
(Obligatory disclaimer for parents! Please remember to wash as soon as possible after wearing, and inside out!)
