We are starting to wind down! We still would like to highlight our parishioners on our Parish page, who are graduating from preschool, kindergarten, 6th grade, 8th grade, high school, college, trade school, nursing school, etc., in 2026. Please message us a picture, and include the name of the graduate, school they are graduating from, school they are going to, major, work force or armed forces, and/or any other pertinent information that you would like to share (graduation awards, high school activities/sports, etc.). It's our Parish Graduation Facebook edition! Congratulations to our parishioner, Ryan Zilker! Ryan is a High School graduate from Mahanoy Area School District. He is the son of Kevin and Sherry Zilker. In high school, Ryan was a star basketball and baseball player, was a member of the National Honor Society, was in the Interact Club and the Future Business Leaders Association, and was a member of Student Council. He was also a Student of the Month this past December, and the Homecoming King in the Fall. Ryan helped the ACTION Youth Group this year by being a centurion in their Living Stations. Ryan’s future plans are to attend Juniata College and major in Biochemistry and play basketball. We are so proud of our High School graduate, Ryan!

It's our Parish Graduation Facebook edition! Congratulations to our parishioner, Kannon Kelly! Kannon is a Kindergarten graduate from St. Jerome Regional School. He is the son of Sean and Kailee Kelly. Kannon is a basketball player and a T-ball player. Recently, Kannon entered a painting in a CYO Art Competition and won First place for his Mosasarus painting. In November, Kannon was selected as a Christian of the month at St. Jerome’s. Kannon’s future plans are to be a Scientist. We are so proud of our Kindergarten graduate, Kannon!

She will start Kindergarten at Mahanoy Area this Fall! Hadley’s activities include gymnastics and dance. She is the daughter of Brian and Krystal Finneran. His activities include T-ball, putting legos and puzzles together, reading books, and jumping on his trampoline with his sister. He is the son of Jeremy and April Bowman. It's Good News Friday and this is WONDERFUL NEWS!!! Tomorrow, six men will be ordained to the priesthood for our Diocese!!! These men are Rev. Mr. Dominic Civitella, Rev. Mr. Tyler Davis, Rev. Mr. Tyler Loch, Rev. Mr. Anh Do Mai, Rev. Mr. Hy James Gia Ngô, and Rev. Mr. Jeffrey Tomczyk. What a blessing to have these good and holy men answer God's call to be a priest! It is going to be an amazing day tomorrow for these men, their families, and the Diocese of Allentown! May God bless them always! They are prayers answered!!

It's our Parish Graduation Facebook edition! Congratulations to our parishioner, Gianna Giannelli! Gianna is a High School graduate from Marian Catholic High School. She is the daughter of Matt and Kellie Giannelli. At Marian, Gianna was involved in Catholic Relief Services and was a project leader for two years. She was a member of the National Honor Society, serving as Secretary in her Senior year. Gianna was on the track and field team and served as captain in her senior year. She was also a member of the Schuylkill County Drug and Alcohol Advisory Board, a member of the May crowning court at Marian, a member of the yearbook committee, SADD, and the Future Business Leaders Association. Gianna was named a Republican Herald Scholastic Superstar. She received leadership awards for track and field and work ethics, and the Mahanoy City Knights of Columbus Council 549 Scholarship. She was our May Queen this year at St. Teresa of Calcutta. Gianna’s future plans are to attend Kutztown University and major in Psychology with a minor in Biology. Her ultimate goals is to become an Occupational Therapist. We are so proud of our High School graduate, Gianna!

It's our Parish Graduation Facebook edition! Congratulations to our parishioner, Addison Engleman! Addison graduated from St. Jerome Regional School. She earned Highest General Average, was awarded the Principal's Award from being on the honor roll for all three trimesters. She also received the Bishop's Scholarship Award, the Knights of Columbus Award for Math, and was also chosen for the Catholic Churches of Jim Thorpe Scholarship Award. In addition, she received the President's Award for Educational Excellence. She will be going to Marian Catholic High School. Addison's sports and activities include: Volleyball, Softball, Marching Band, Concert Band, Theater with Center Stage Theatre as well as Marian. She was the Student Council Treasurer. She was an Altar Server for school Mass, was a Mission Representative, was an Assistant Director for St. Jerome's Beginner Band, and was in the Schuylkill County Junior Band the past 2 years. She is also a member of the A.C.T.I.O.N. Youth Group. We are so proud of our 8th Grade graduate, Addison!
