Today’s reading: Luke 1-2

God gave Elizabeth and Zacharias a promise, and Mary received a promise that seemed impossible. But both stories remind us of the same thing:

What God has promised, He is faithful to fulfill.

The waiting may be long. The circumstances may look impossible. You may not understand how it will happen.

But trust the promise, not the circumstances.

If God said it, He will do it.

“For with God nothing shall be impossible.” — Luke 1:37

Today’s reading: Daniel 2–3

Daniel and his friends trusted God when the answer was clear—and when it wasn’t.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego knew God could rescue them from the fire. But they also knew they would worship Him even if He didn’t.

That’s real faith: trusting God not just for what He can do, but for who He is.

Whatever the outcome, He is still worthy.

Today’s reading: 2 Kings 25

Jerusalem fell. The temple was burned. Judah was carried into exile.

After generations of warning, the consequences of continually turning away from God finally came.

But tucked into the very end of the chapter is a reminder that God’s story wasn’t over. There was still hope.

Sometimes the hardest chapters of our lives are not the end of the story.

God can still bring restoration from the ruins.

Don’t wait until the walls fall to realize how important it is to have God at the center of your life!

Today’s reading: 1 Kings 18

Elijah asked Israel a question that still challenges us today: “How long will you waver between two opinions?”

You can’t fully follow God while keeping one foot in the world. At some point, we have to choose.

If the Lord is God, follow Him.
Not halfway. Not when it’s convenient. All in.

God isn’t asking us to be perfect—He’s asking us to choose Him.
