From our beginning, to the time Jesus comes back, we are called to be different. We are not a church. We are a new way style of ministry, yet one based on the original style and methods of Jesus and His apostles. It's not about preaching, or teaching, but spreading His love and teaching who Christ truly is. We will do anything, risk everything just to reach that one person that needs Him the most. We can say we follow Jesus all we want. If following Him doesn't lead us out the church doors and into a dieing world, then it's not Christ we're following, but doctrine. One will lead to salvation, hope, and freedom. The other only leads to death and destruction. Make sure you're clear on which you follow, because eternity is a long time to regret the wrong choice.

"Small Wins"

Life will never go the way we plan it.
From curve balls, to unexpected bills, to emergencies and loss of jobs...life will hit hard when we are not prepared. It's easy to get lost in the chaos and madness. It's easy to spiral into a dark place. "Why would God allow this?" "How can I go on?" All of these are logical and fair questions.
First we must understand that God doesn't cause things to happen. He allows life to play out, stepping in when His faithful need Him the most. No, we don't always get our way and we will never understand His "why". However, in the chaos there are little things that show us He IS still there, holding us in the storm.
It's the small wins that keep us going, the easy to miss and overlook that teaches us to live life in the moment. No, your car might not be the best but you have wheels. Yeah, you might be living paycheck to paycheck, but you are living. The things in life might not be what we want, but they show that we are not alone.
Don't look at the storm, but the Hands that can calm the storm. Don't focus on the losses, but the wins you have (no matter how small they may seem). Don't listen or look to the chaos around you, but listen and look to the one that makes beauty out of the chaos.
Life really is simple. Love God, love people, and take the wins you have. Once you appreciate the small gifts, God will trust you with bigger and more grand gifts. Take the wins you get, rejoice in the small victories you find. In those little moments you will find freedom and build a relationship with Christ that is unbreakable.

I keep seeing these post stating these people are evil because of this sin, those people are evil because of that sin. Still, not once have I heard the complete truth. See, scripture states the only one sin is unforgivable. It even goes on to explain that all sins are equal in God's eyes, save the one sin. Why is this important? Excellent question! That means that a group of people living so deep in sin that they are blinded to it should be the very last ones to pick up stones. It means when you put money over human lives, when numbers are more important than souls, when hate is favored over love, when your actions cause more harm to the faith than good.....you no longer have the right to stand up and claim to be speaking for Christ. You aren't. You have become the very thing you once claimed to stand against. You want to talk about sin? Let's start inside the four walls first.

"This Is Xtreme Fire"

So much has changed over the course of a couple weeks. We have 2 new directors, yours truly started a new job that allows me to focus more on ministry, and now it's time to get things rolling. That being said, many ask about the ministry. Who are we, why are we different, what makes us who we are? All great questions. Hopefully this will help to clear the air some.

What if instead of trying to fit into a ministry mold, we mold ministry to the way God created us? What if instead of trying to recreate something that's failing, we build something new? What if instead of being freaks trying do ministry, we are just a bunch of Jesus freaks living for Christ?! That is Xtreme Fire. Something new, yet old. Something different, yet strangely familiar. It's just a group of outcast following Jesus the only way we know how...by being us and no one else. That is ministry in it's purest, rawest form.

We are stripping away everything that is "church". We are going back to the basics....we will be as true to the original as possible. We're doing something new, so we're gonna kick it real old school. This isn't your granny's church, this is Xtreme Fire Ministries!

If the outcome you are fighting for is NOT to bring people closer to God, if all you want is to prove you are right, then you're missing the entire point of the Gospel.
