His Kingdom Girls (Christian Teen Blog)

His Kingdom Girl is the combined effort of a mom and seven young ladies who have a desire to share His word and His Kingdom to the rest of the world! This site was created because of a passion for Jesus that goes much deeper than going to church on Sundays and Wednesdays. It was created because of a longing for more than what the secular world is willing to concede about the true ruler of this world, God. It is the spiritual, emotional, and intellectual journey of seven girls that desire more than just the superficial cravings of this world. God has given each of us various talents, desires, and giftings. However, it's often difficult being a Christian teen in today's world. This site, His Kingdom Girl, will take you through the day to day life of being a Christian young lady faced with growing up amid current world pressures. 1st Timothy 4:12 (The Message Bible) says, "Get the word out. Teach all these things. And don't let anyone put you down because you're young. Teach believers with your life: by word, by demeanor, by love, by faith, by integrity." We hope to open the world's eyes, so that they may know that just because we are young does not mean that we don't have what it takes to stand up for what we believe in. But, it also means that as a teenager, we firmly know what we believe in, and that is the knowledge that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior! Being a teenage girl, the world expects us to wear certain clothes, watch certain things, listen to certain music, and believe in certain (ridiculous) stereotypes for how we should live our lives. These indoctrinations seem to convince young women that dressing inappropriately, using vulgar language, watching disgusting music videos, and partying is all right and acceptable in today's morally corrupted society. The world has also convinced young women that if you choose to not conform, you won't ever fit in and you will never be acceptable or beautiful. We are here to dispel that myth. Romans 12:2 (New International Version) says "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." This gives us the hope that, while the world may have it's crazy beliefs on how people should be, we are being transformed by a higher power! The website will try to cover those wonderful, amazing, spirit filled moments, as well as the "I just can't take it anymore, why is this happening to me?" times in our lives. We pray that our thoughts, words, poems, etc. will speak to your heart and soul, and pray that His richest blessings will be upon you!
