When I originally read this verse, I immediately thought - this is a “Tell His Story Verse!” And it is. There’s a lot of them!
But! It’s not what I thought. Paul doesn’t say “tell the Gentiles what God has done for you.”
He says “tell the Gentiles what God has done for THEM!”
Your testimony is one of the most powerful evangelism tools you have. But nothing is more pivotal than sharing the gospel with those that don’t know Him!
Who’s a Gentile? Most of us! - Anyone that’s not Jewish or part of the covenant people of Israel.
What has God done for them? He’s made a way for them to be a part of His family *through Christ* without having to earn their place.
How did He make a way? ““For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.”
John 3:16-17
