Hey Seneca Redhawks!!! In case you haven't heard, the weekly morning devotion has officially begun. We meet every Wednesday morning in room 102 (Near the door of the Small Gym) from 7:15 to 7:30. Come out and join us as we start off our day in God's Word!
Also, this week's football game at Moore has been moved to Thursday night to avoid the remnants of Hurricane Harvey expected to hit our area Friday. Please come out and support our team!

Just want to apologize to everyone for cancelling this morning. I was picking up an order from Krispy Kreme to drop off for Teacher Appreciation Week, and they didn't have it ready in time. I will make it up to you next week I promise! :) Bobby

During my study time this morning, my devotional started off with Colossians 3:14, which reads: "And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony." The author writes: "Loving God and people is simple. There is only one right choice before us in all that we do. Complexity enters into our lives as soon as we try and juggle living for the world and living for God." How complex is your life right now? Are you seeking and putting God FIRST in everything you do? Felt great being back at Seneca this morning and seeing everyone. If you didn't make it this morning, we have officially changed rooms to 104 b.
This morning we talked about the word "faith". We tend to take a lot of people at their word for many different reasons, but mostly because they have established a certain amount of credibility and trust with us. When we watch the news, we trust that what they are showing us and telling us is truth. Hebrews 11:1 describes faith as: "...the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen, and assurance about what we cannot see." Because we know Christ and what He has done in our lives, we can have faith in His Word and live a life of confidence in that He will be faithful to us!
