Derby City Festival time has arrived in our fair city! We wish one and all good luck in their participation in the wonderful variety of events. The Schuhmann Center asks that you keep our homeless brothers, sisters, and children in mind during this time. One sure bet of doing good is a donation to our efforts. If donating clothing and shoes, we need summer type clothes.

Spring time is upon us bringing signs of new life, new beginnings, new hopes.
Our homeless women, men and children could really appreciate assistance through donations of new and clean towels, laundry detergent, toothbrushes and toothpaste which can enhance their self-worth and dignity.
Financial donations can go a long way to help us purchase such items. Remember we're a 503 3c non profit organization.

Want to be part of a Mission and group making a difference with our local homeless women and men, and children? Schuhmann Center is a beacon of hope, compassion, and encouragement. We take donations of new or gently used clothing, underwear, and shoes.
We assist families with children experiencing nutritional needs.
Financial donations are appreciated.
We are a 501 3c non-profit organization. All donations are tax exempt!
Xaverian Brothers Mike Foley and Kenney Gorman serve weekly with many other dedicated volunteers and generous benefactors.

Laundry detergent and dish detergent are current needs of our clients, as they aim to live with clean clothes and other items. No matter the size of the detergent, if it cleans clothes or cleans dishes and utensils, we could use that. Financial donations are appreciated.

Suggestions: Consider providing clothing and financial donations to assist the Schuhmann Center in its mission to assist our homeless men and women.
• Skip the morning latte and put that money in an envelope
• Give up eating out at restaurants. Pack your meals and donate the extra money to the Schuhmann Center.

A word of thanks and appreciation to our friend Chris Hyle of COIT Cleaners for delivering freshly cleaned and usable winter coats to the Schuhmann Center. We truly appreciate such company benefactors who assist us in caring for our homeless brothers and sisters. These coats were an immense blessing to our clients during the recent frigid weather.

St. Mary's Academy Kindergarten Classes and parishioners of St. Bernadette Catholic Parish blessed us and our clients on Ash Wednesday. They put together Gift Bags - personal care items for our homeless brothers and sisters, as they face the challenges of daily living. We are most grateful to the children, teachers, and families who made these gifts possible.
