I hosted an event a lot of students showed up to. I got a call from a kid during the event. “Will, is there something going on at your house? Who’s all there?”
Uhm…a lot of people
“I need names”
As frustrating as it is to plan a great experience and all kids wanna know is “who’s gonna be there?” before they commit —it’s a reminder for me that kids value loving relationships more than innovative programs. I’m reminded that when I’m planning an event or program the answer to “who’s gonna be there?” should always be “people who love you and want you to know Christ”.
