When long-time musician Tony Latham became physically unable to continue participating with his congregation’s choir due to brain cancer, the choir came to him.

On Easter Sunday Gina Owens organized the 30-plus member choir she directs to visit Tony at his home for a private performance.

They sang "Behold the Wounds in Jesus Hands," "The Day That Changed Everything," and Tony’s favorite hymn "Because I Have Been Given Much."

"This was a moment I will always treasure," said Gina. "It was a privilege."

During this Easter season the familiar voices of his friends raised Tony’s spirits, testifying that Jesus lives and loves us all.

Katelyn Remund returned home last week after completing her volunteer missionary service. She spent the past year and a half working among the wonderful people of Oaxaca México.

Reflecting back on this experience Katelyn said: "my mission absolutely changed my life and my relationship with the Savior. I have come to better know Him and His great love through serving others and preaching the joyful message of His restored gospel."

We all know what it is to doubt, to experience sinking moments. But notice where Jesus was when Peter accepted the invitation that seemed too big. … He was in the water — with Peter. Within reaching distance.

From Peter’s story we learn that our understanding of eternal truth is not forged in a single moment — testimony is built over time, day after day, both best days and worst. - Emily Belle Freeman

Jesus Christ is the Light of the World. Through His suffering, death, and Resurrection, He overcame sin and death and brought hope to us all.

No matter how dark life may feel, His light shines brightly, guiding us forward with hope, peace, and new beginnings.

He is risen! He is risen; Tell it out with joyful voice.
He has burst his three days’ prison;
Let the whole wide earth rejoice.
Death is conquered; man is free. Christ has won the victory.

He is risen! He is risen! He hath opened heaven’s gate.
We are free from sin’s dark prison,
Risen to a holier state.
And a brighter Easter beam, On our longing eyes shall stream.

Good Friday reminds us that in His darkest moment, Jesus' love was shining brightest. While we recall the agony of Gethsemane and the suffering of the cross, it is called “good” because through Christ’s loving sacrifice, He overcame sin and death and opened the way for hope, forgiveness, and resurrection for us all. Today we remember Him with gratitude and reverence.

"Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world." - John 1:29

On this Good Friday may we be reminded how much love God has for each and every one of us.

During his Last Supper, the Savior (the Bread of Life) invited his disciples to always “remember” Him. That invitation stands today.
