HOLY WEDNESDAY NIGHT PRAYER

Before the ending of the day,
Creator of the world we pray,
that with your constant favor
thou be our guard and keeper now.

From harmful dreams defend our sight,
from fears and terrors of the night;
withhold from us our dark desires,
Prevent us from eternal fire.

O Father, this we ask be done,
through Jesus Christ Your only Son:
who, with the Holy Ghost and Thee,
shall live and reign eternally.

To the more than 6.4k , thanks a lot for accompanying me on VIA CRUCIS or Stations of the Cross.

This Sunday will be the Passion or Palm Sunday and on Thursday, Friday and Saturday will be the Triduum - ONE MASS IN THREE DAYS. It’s the of the Lenten Season and Holy Week celebrations.

Let’s devote time to read the proposed readings of the Church as we accompany Jésus-Christ on the WAY.

MATAMIS (MAlita TAgakaulo MISsion)

Yesterday, after I was formally presented to Bp. Jimmy Afable, Fr. Juvy and I drove to my new home in Malita Tagakaulo Mission, Davao Occidental.

It took omly 1:30hr to reach the mission area from Digos, Davao del Sur.

When I was a seminarian we were here for our mission exposure. There are some obvious changes. For instance, now, the road is cemented and there are bridges.

This will be my new home for the next years with our Tagakaulo brethren.
