BRIDGING THE GAP BETWEEN GEN Z AND THE OLDER GENERATION
Speaker: Pastor Edise Igho Joy Aiyedun | Text: Proverbs 22:6 & Psalm 11:3

The generation of today Gen Z and Gen Alpha is very different from the one parents grew up in, especially in technology. But just as a house needs a solid foundation, so does family. Parents must accept the new generation's style without seeing either generation as superior.

So how do we bridge the gap?

First, connect, don't control. God modelled connection when He fellowshipped with Adam in the garden (Genesis 3).

Disciple your children by walking with them, not just by giving instructions (Romans 12:2).

Secondly, listen, not just lecture. Create time and a safe atmosphere at home to genuinely listen before correcting. Isaiah 1:18 says, "Come, let us reason together."

Remember that the answers you refuse to give, your children will find online.

Thirdly, communicate, not condemn their actions. Establish clear family core values like faith, love, excellence, and integrity. Give your children an assignment to develop their own personal core values.

For couples planning marriage, align on your shared values early. Say things like "In this family, we love, honour, and obey God regardless of feelings."

"In this family, we do morning devotions regardless of how late we are." "In this family, we give to God and support people."

Bridge the gap by connecting, listening, and communicating not controlling, lecturing, or condemning. Thank you for being part of today's service.

BREAKING FREE FROM THE ORDINARY
Minister: Rev. Victor Aiyedun | Text: 3 John 1:2

Prosperity is not just financial blessing alone, it is progressive prosperity (Psalm 118:25). Every level in life is not just given to you; you have to work toward it.

The moment you make up your mind to break free from the life of the ordinary is the moment you become free. Deuteronomy 30:19 says God has set before you life and death, blessing and cursing – you must choose life. Until you tell yourself the kind of life you want to live, you will remain at your current level (Proverbs 19:2; Hosea 4:6).

So how do you break free?
First, acknowledge your current level and refuse to stay there.

Second, develop a new mindset create a bigger vision, a prosperous version of your business and life, and let it fill your mind. Don't let the little change you have limit you.

Third, decide and be determined. Genesis 27:40 speaks of breaking a yoke from off your neck. Don't just say "enough is enough" – take action with that energy. Nothing that has premium value is free.

Free doesn't last. Choose to break free this week for you and for your children.

Great Grace is a reward or an empowerment to do more. When God grant you Grace it is for you to do more. To achieve beyond effort, you need the grace of God.

When Grace is activated in your life things are different for you because Great Grace is for you to do greater works.

Great Grace is seen in your life when you make moves that are bigger than you.

If you are conscious of what Grace can do, it will propel you to do and expect more. Proverbs 23:18 KJV - For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.

Whenever you are inspired to do anything, Grace is always there to back you up. Do it. And most importantly whenever your spirit tells you to act , act no matter how small or big it is, you are training your Spirit to be sensitive.

Prerequisite to Great Grace
1. Soul winning : Daniel 12:3 KJV - And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. This can be in the following (a) One on one evangelism. (b) inviting someone to church (c) your life being a witness / testimony of transformation through salvation. Wisdom is connected to winning of souls as seen in Proverbs 11:30 KJV - The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise

2. Dellgence: Another pre requisite to enjoying Great Grace is due deligence. We must be deligent in all that we do both in the things of God and in your personal work. Proverbs 22:29 KJV - Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men. Great Grace is not to be wasted. It is not for Lazy people. It is for real Hard work.

3. Consistency: Before Great grace we must be consistent. It means always showing up. Consistency is the nature of God and whoever operates it gets the reward. You can guarantee your future if you are consistent enough. Infact CONSISTENCY IS LIFE.

Why do you desire great grace
1. Because Great Grace amplifies your result
2. Because Great Grace empowers you for more.
3. Because Great Grace makes easy what others encounter as difficult.

GREAT GRACE FOR GREATER WORK

Grace is not given for you to do nothing with it. Grace is given to you to work with it. God has given each person different level of grace, grace for wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and all manner of workmanship (Exodus 31:3-4).

But grace is not cheap or free; Jesus paid the price for it. That means you must put in great work. Great grace does not allow laziness, it demands diligence. The answer to the prayer you've been praying is actually responsibility. There is responsibility attached to grace, and that responsibility is itself an answered prayer.

John 9:4 says, "We must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day." And Genesis 5:22 reminds us that Enoch walked with Goddaily, consistently, responsibly.

This week, stop waiting for grace to fall like magic. Take responsibility. Work your grace. That's how you position yourself for end time exploits.
