You are approaching an energy that you’ve never been in before. This is not a cycle. Everything on the planet to this point has been a cycle, just like your weather, and just like astronomy, which is in a predictable system. The earth goes through cycles, but this is not one of them.

This is an excerpt from “Living in the Sacred Presence of the Divine Mother,” a talk given in 2017 by Brother Chidananda, president of Self-Realization Fello...

"Nature with her diamond-dazzling stars, the Milky Way, the flowers, birds, clouds, mountains, sky — the countless beauties of creation — is the Divine Mother. In Nature you behold the mother aspect of God, full of beauty, gentleness, tenderness, and kindness. The beauty in the world bespeaks the creative motherly instinct of God, and when we look upon all the good in Nature, we experience a feeling of tenderness within us — we can see and feel God as Mother in Nature.

The Divine Mother is most anxious to have you back with Her, but first you must prove to Her that you want Her alone - Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda

Slavic prehistoric origins of the folk round dance and to be in a circle. "Funerary symbols. "Hora" funerary dance (Greek "chora", Serbian "kolo") played by Vlachs. Petroglyph of Vlach tombstones in Herzegovina. The same dance with flowers is performed today by Romanian minority in Timoc, Serbia."

Baba Yaga translates as wise elder woman/grandmother, with Yaga meaning “fright” and “pelican”. Fright is an apt expression to describe the forces of Mother Nature and the natural world. Baba Yaga is perhaps the first truly dangerous idea of feminine ecology expression.

What is evident is how the weather (Mother Nature/Baba Yaga) influences our bodies and our lives.

Women’s observations span the globe since women globally are responsible for crops and husbandry to feed their families. The observations such as the years’ long droughts in Africa or the red tide in the oceans are very compelling and probe the psyche of all.

The Slavic cosmology authenticates the fearsome Baba Yaga as responsible for change and recurrence environmentally and on every living thing on the face of the planet. Baba Yaga’s ability to throw rocks and uproot towering trees gains our attention and fear for a few moments until the next storm or Tsunami.
Baba Yaga’s classrooms are the forests sheltered by massive intertwining branches iconic of cosmological regenerative forces in Mother Nature that inform us about the ritual drama and ritual dynamics. The ritual dynamics unravel the multitude of various paradigmatic contexts on how we coexist and interact with the earth’s environment: how for example scenes of growth, blossoms, and the seasonal cycles inscribe our lifeworld and our bodies.
We are a collective of beings just like the trees in the forest. If one tree falls, the consequences ripple outward to the uprooting of other conjoined trees nearby.

Mokosh seems to have been given the greatest amount of respect. No one was allowed to strike the Earth with a hoe until the spring equinox, as celebrated during the pagan festival Maslenitsa, as the Earth was considered pregnant until then. The Earth was considered so sacred that oaths were sworn while holding a clump of it in one’s hand, sometimes in the mouth. Ancient wedding vows were taken while swallowing a small piece of earth or holding it on the head. The custom of asking the Earth’s forgiveness before death was still being observed far into the 20th century, and when a priest in the countryside could not be found it was considered appropriate to confess sins to the Earth.
