Mercy And America Fr. Andre Mahanna, a Maronite Catholic priest and U.S.

citizen who grew up living in caves with his Christian community to escape sectarian violence during the Lebanese civil war believes the "big Christian church" in America must be a bridge to the "small Christian church" in the Middle East, or face its own destruction. Whatever your Christian profession and where ever you find yourself to be, God sent His Only Son to represent the Father's love for

all humanity. Christians and all people of goodwill should unite in sharing this love and the message of hope and mercy to the whole world and in a special way to the persecuted Christians of the Middle East. Andre believes peace, reconciliation and coexistence can and will happen when America extends a merciful hand to the peoples of the Mideast and most especially to their religious leaders.
