On Father’s Day, Reality LA Youth will be grilling carne asada in the courtyard immediately after our 10AM gathering.

Come hungry! Come ready to eat! Come ready to donate whatever the Lord puts on your heart! (No donation is too big, am I right?? See what we did there... 👀)

They’ll have carne asada tacos, chicken tacos, quesadillas and veggie/vegan options—so don’t make other lunch plans for after church.

Many struggle with the concept of Jesus and their reasons vary. If you can relate, maybe it's because you were hurt by a previous church, maybe you had bad experiences with those claiming to be Christians, maybe you felt judged or ridiculed by the church, or maybe you were disillusioned by the discord among Christians themselves.

Christians are not perfect. Humans are not perfect. But Jesus is.

Regardless of how poorly some Christians may represent Jesus, we do not need to dismiss him. He loves us, he shows mercy and grace towards us, and he cares about us. He does all of those things perfectly in a broken world.

🌟 June Partner Highlight — Royal Family KIDS Camp (RFKC) 🌟

RFKC is an annual week-long summer camp for ages 6-12, with the mission to share the joy and love of Jesus with children and caretakers who are or have been involved in the foster care system. The camp is tied to a yearlong mentorship program centered on cultivating healthy, encouraging, and positive relationships between our volunteers and campers throughout the year.

This past Sunday we commissioned the 71 volunteers who will be heading out to Royal Family KIDS Camp this weekend as they begin to prep and prepare for the camp taking place next week.

We are so thankful for the heart of service on display through this group, prioritizing and sacrificing their time to be with these kids, sharing and demonstrating the gospel with them, and consistently pointing them to the truth—such that each child will know that they are seen, known, and loved by Jesus.

Join us in praying for the RFKC campers, caretakers, and leaders this week, next week, and throughout the year as they continue their one-on-one mentorship.

This past Saturday, our Reality LA men gathered for deep learning and conversation!

Dr. Michael Hsu and Pastor Alex gave us a lot to pray about and consider regarding our identity in Christ and overcoming barriers and wounds that are holding us back.

It is so great to carve out time for relationship, worship, and growth together!
