"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed." 1 Peter 2:24.
"Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood." Acts 20:28
"But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things that have come, then through the greater and more perfect tent (not made with hands, that is, not of this creation) 12he entered once for all into the holy places, not by means of the blood of goats and calves but by means of his own blood, thus securing an eternal redemption." "...But as it is, he has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself."Hebrews 9:11-12, 26b
"So Jesus also suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people through his own blood." Hebrews 13:12.
Jesus shed his blood for the Church (God’s people); God obtains his people with his own blood; therefore, Jesus is God. This is a pivotal, crucial point to say definitively that it was God’s blood being shed with Jesus on the cross. Therefore, we can know that we had a perfect and sufficient sacrifice for our sins that actually cleanses us because it is God who cleansed us with his own sacrifice. This is the good news. Tell others!
