Waiting… difficult?
“...Wait for the Gift my Father promised." - Acts 1:4
Pentecost is a celebration of the Holy Spirit and the birth of Church, but also the celebration of the power of Waiting!
Before the fire fell, before the bold teaching, before thousands coming to Faith… the disciples WAITED.
They waited in uncertainty. They waited in prayer. They waited together.
In a world that pushes us to rush every process, Pentecost teaches us that God often moves deeply in the waiting season. The disciples did not manufacture revival on their own strength. They positioned themselves in obedience and expectation until the Holy Spirit came with power.
Sometimes we want immediate answers, instant breakthroughs, and clear direction. But there are moments when heaven asks us to remain faithful in the upper room, trusting that God is preparing something greater, something extraordinary to empower the ordinary!
This Pentecost, may we LEARN TO WAIT with faith, pray with expectation, and remain open to the transforming presence of the Holy Spirit!
