Ever so often, I take a break. And it’s about that time.

Don’t worry y’all… I’m not disappearing forever 😂 I just want to spend some intentional time with the Lord, rest, recharge, and enjoy this season with my family and loved ones.

💬 For those who have been reaching out about counseling sessions: the schedule on my website is now closed.

💜 However, to the three beautiful women who have already booked with me, (before this announcement) don’t worry sis! Our sessions are still on, and I can’t wait to speak with all of you! 🤗

However, after those appointments are complete, I’ll be officially stepping away for a little while.

Thank you all for your love, prayers, support, comments, messages, and encouragement. It truly means more than you know. 🥹

I love y’all so much, and I pray each and every one of you has an amazing summer! ☀️🌸

Enjoy your families.
Take care of yourselves.

Stop making excuses for inconsistency and start paying attention to the pattern. 🚩

And then when you finally react… they sit back and act like YOU are the problem. 😮‍💨

Some people don’t want peace… they want a performance. 🎭

Protect your peace. Guard your spirit. And don’t allow someone else’s dysfunction to pull you out of character.

Have you ever met a person where NOTHING is ever their fault? 😮‍💨

Everybody hurt them.
Everybody wronged them.
Everybody misunderstood them.

And before you know it… everybody around them is walking on eggshells 🥚 trying not to trigger the next emotional episode.

Yes, things happen, life hits, and people can genuinely be hurt.

But when someone refuses accountability, weaponizes their feelings, and makes YOU feel bad for having boundaries… 👀

Sis… that’s not healthy.

That’s TOXIC.

Happy 13th “you saved me from hell” anniversary. lol 😅🥹

My Lord…

I love you.

I am obsessed with you lol. You are my friend, my father, my brother, my comforter and everything in between.

The love 💗 you have for me is immeasurable.

You count every tear of mine. You know the number of hairs I have on my head, you know all my mistakes. All my past failures and all my shortcomings and still you love me.

Still you chose me.

Still you call me yours.

Still you trust me with your name… your people… your purpose… and the calling you placed on my life.

Still you say you will make my name great throughout the earth. 🌍

Why you chose me… I will never know.

Why you saved me on that dark day 13 years ago… I will never know.

But I thank you… because had it not been for your mercy… your patience… your hand… your love… I don’t know where I would be…

Well actually I do… but I don’t want to think about it. 🥲😰 lol

Anyway, thank you for keeping me when I didn’t know how to keep myself.

Thank you for staying… even in seasons when I didn’t understand what you were doing.

Papa… I pray I can make you proud with my obedience.

I pray I can make you smile with my praise, even through the tears.

And I pray I can make you laugh with all my silly Takyah antics 🤣🥲🥹… lol.

Papa, I love you… and today is our day.

13 years ago… I died. I saw the Lord… and I said yes.

And 13 years later…

My answer is still yes. 🥹🙏🏽

Everybody wants to prophesy the “God is about to bless you” words…

But what happens when God gives you a word that corrects?
A word that confronts?
A word of judgment?
A word that people need deliverance?
Or a word that calls somebody higher?

You cannot twist God’s words just to be liked PROPHET!!

You don’t get to release only the soft words, the safe words, & the gooey gummy bear prophecies 🍭🐻 that keep everybody clapping and comfortable…

and then go silent when God says, “Say the hard thing.”

Because at some point… you have to decide:

Do you fear people more than you fear God?
