WEAPONS VISION
Habakkuk 2:1-3
II will stand my watch and set myself on the rampart and watch to see what He will say to me. Then the Lord answered me and said: Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the
end it will speak, and though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, It will not tarry. I AM A Weapon, INC is a Faith/Christian based organization whose mission is to impact the community by helping other women and teenage girls going through transition as well as feeding the homeless. While these women, girls and the homeless are going through transition I AM A Weapon, INC will provide food, prayer, resources, education, literature, bibles, clothing, etc. This organization is comprised of anointed, talented, beautiful, courageous, victorious, bible toting, and authentic women who are willing to mentor and give of their selves and time to encourage and motivate women in jails and girls in the juvenile facilities. Once these women and girls make the transition from jail and juvenile we are going to provide follow up as a means to help them all stay on track. Once I AM A Weapon, INC opens its first home for women then the women in the organization will be responsible for teaching life and social skills as well as provide assistance, guidance and counseling. I AM A Weapon, INC will be responsible for clothing, feeding, and teaching the women how to be successful mother’s and wives in our society. The women will learn about financial management, take cooking classes, and other educational classes that will enhance their full potential. I AM A Weapon, INC is a 501c3/Non-profit organization. The vision of I AM A Weapon, INC is to provide a means of fellowship/mentorship for transplanted and local women; to assist other women in the community who are hurting for a hug, love, friendship and or fellowship. I AM A Weapon, INC is designed for women to cultivate, motivate inspire and mentor other women. It is designed to provide mentorship for young women who desire to be mentored in areas such as cooking, dating, mothering, etc. I AM A Weapon, INC was created for women by women who understand that in a declining economy that there are women frustrated, disappointed, hurting, depressed, and struggling in their finances, marriage, businesses and with their kids. I AM A Weapon, INC was created to provide encouragement, prayer, support, comfort and trusting relationships within a safe environment. This organization is also designed to help women grow individually, as wives, mothers, and grandmothers. As well as foster unity among various denominational groups while doing community service and outreach. I AM A Weapon, INC is also for women who desire to fellowship with other women and pray for their husbands, children, and households until something happens (PUSH). As well as women who are tired of complaining and are ready to be the change they are so desperately seeking. Mark 16:15-18
And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. 16 "He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned. 17 "These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover. Short term goals:
• Street witnessing (Feeding the Homeless) (Quarterly)
• Visiting the Jails (ministering to girls/women) (Monthly)
• Visiting the Prisons (ministering to women) (Monthly)
• Visiting Women Shelters (Monthly)
• March 2015 Become a 501c3 non- profit Organization
Long term goals:
• Vehicle loaner program 6 mos.
• Transportation vehicles/vans
• March 2016 Dedication of our first Brother chapter, Men of Valor
• March 2016 Dedication of our first Sister chapter (Gwinnett Co., DeKalb Co., etc.)
• March 2017 Dedication of our first transitional home for 4-5 women (number
of women will be dependent upon whether or not any of the women have kids),
(reside 6 to 9 months)
• March 2017 Counseling program for victims of domestic violence, sexual
trauma, etc.
• March 2018 Dedication of our first transitional home for girls ages (12-17)
Isaiah 42: 6-7
"I am the LORD, I have called You in righteousness, I will also hold You by the hand and watch over You, And I will appoint You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the nations, 7 To open blind eyes, To bring out prisoners from the dungeon And those who dwell in darkness from the prison. Numbers 23:19-20
God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through? 20 Listen, I received a command to bless; God has blessed, and I cannot reverse it! Ephesians 4:20-21
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever, Amen.
