We are so incredibly proud of our kiddos! 🩵

Our original Kids Creative Arts Ministry (Kids CAM) production, “Eden to the Cross”, began with a simple but powerful question: “What happened to Barabbas after he was set free?”

This play—written in partnership with several of our student writers—explores that question by taking us all the way back to the beauty of creation. We see Eden, where there was intimate relationship with Jesus, and then witness the entrance of sin through the deception of the enemy. From there, the story unfolds across time, showing how sin distorts relationships and our understanding of who God is.

Eventually, we meet Barabbas—the embodiment of sin itself. The Bible doesn’t tell us what happened to him after his release, but the story our kids chose to tell… is really our story.

In many ways, we are Barabbas and we are left to answer that question for ourselves. What will we do with the freedom we’ve been given?

This weekend, we reflected on Eden lost—and the incredible hope of Eden restored because of the One who took our place. ✝️

So proud of every child who poured their heart into this production. What a beautiful reminder of truth, creativity, and the Gospel!

There is nothing quite like seeing the story of grace through the eyes of a child.

This Easter season, our CVC Kids Creative Arts Ministry (CAM) invites you to a powerful spring production: Eden to the Cross.

Our kids have been working so hard — rehearsing, learning choreography, and diving deep into what it means to truly be a worshiper. Through music, dance, and storytelling, they are exploring the ultimate gift of Jesus’ love. Whether you’re a long-time member of our church family or a friend from the Lincoln community looking for a meaningful way to celebrate, we would love for you to join us.

This isn't just a "performance" — it’s a moment for our community to gather, reflect, and find joy in the hope we share.

📅 Performance: Sabbath, April 4, 2026

📍 Location: College View Seventh-day Adventist Church Sanctuary

At CVC Kids, we believe in partnering with families to help children become rooted in their faith. Come support these amazing young artists as they use their gifts with purpose and joy!

Congratulations to the CVC TruthSeekers ABG teams!

We had a wonderful Sabbath together at the Conference-level Adventurer Bible Game in Kansas. We are so proud of all our kids and the dedication they showed while studying the Women of the Bible.

A special thank you to the parents for the time spent studying and praying together at home and for the constant support you give to our Adventurers. Your encouragement makes a difference.

Our teams are bringing home 3rd place and 1st place, but even more meaningful was the time spent growing, learning, and having fun together in God’s Word. 📖✨
