First United Methodist Women, Lincoln, Nebraska We are known around Lincoln as "The Cookie Church"! to 3 p.m. Grab a 6" x 6" x 4" box and select among numerous cookies to pack into the box.

On the first Saturday of each December, the United Women in Faith unit at First United Methodist Church holds an event called "Mission Christmas" from 9 a.m. At this gathering, among all the different types of items available for purchase, are HOMEMADE Cookies! People have been known to get as many as 4 dozen in a box! The boxes are sold at a preset price, determined each Fall. You can wander arou

nd to look at what items might be found in Grandma's Attic, or offered by various Vendors while listening to live music. Food items are available for purchase and include Walking Tacos, Homemade Soups, slices of Homemade Pie, Cinnamon Rolls, and Beverages. These items can be consumed while at Mission Christmas or packaged to take home with you. Please note, that we have gluten-free cookies available for purchase AND vegetarian-friendly soup.
