As part of Phi Chapter’s Beginning Teacher Project, we had the privilege of welcoming new alternate licensure teachers in Harnett County Schools with grab-and-go breakfast bags. 💜🍎

Each bag was filled with yogurt, string cheese, fresh muffins, granola bars, oranges, fruit juice, teacher stickers, and heartfelt notes of encouragement from our chapter members. We hope these small gestures remind our newest educators how appreciated and supported they are as they begin this exciting journey.

We’re looking forward to continuing the encouragement next week by providing snacks during their beginning teacher orientation meetings. Wishing all of our new teachers a wonderful start to the school year!

Phi Chapter held their annual Scholarship Auction yesterday to raise money for scholarships and grants-in-aid. Members donated items for the silent auction and purchased sheets of raffle tickets to bid on items in the auction. They also enjoyed a delicious Cracker Barrel breakfast and discussed ways to raise money for future projects.
