This year at VBS, MC3 is looking to raise $1,000 to help fund our future youth building. Anyone attending, both kids or volunteers, are welcome to place a donation each night. If our VBS participants reach their goal, then our Youth Minister will be in for a mess. The kids will get to see a “Food Dump” on his head on the final night. Looking forward to see what God will provide through our kids. See you there!

What makes VBS more exciting than it already is? Answer: Dress Up Theme Nights. Each night at VBS, both kids and volunteers are invited to wear clothing that matches these themes. Kids who participate will earn points for their age group for a chance to throw water balloons at our Youth Minister. Dress accordingly and see you at VBS!

2026 Graduate Spotlight: Jalen Waithe graduated from Gwinnett Technical College with an associate of applied science degree in automotive technology. He works for Penske Truck and Rentals and runs his own Mobile Car Detailing business--Topline Detailing.

Jalen is the last of our four graduating seniors for 2026. Please keep all of these young men and women in your prayers.

Today, we begin honoring our 2026 graduates. The first is Raven Burke, who earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Raven's post-graduation plans include selling her own artwork and applying for jobs.

In 1 Peter 2:4, the Apostle Peter gives us an incredible illustration, reminding us that, "As you come to him [Jesus], the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him—you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house . . . ." Have you ever thought about this before, that as followers of Christ, we are being built into a Living Spiritual House where Jesus is the chief cornerstone, the MOST IMPORTANT stone whereby all the other stones are placed. And we are placed by our Savior brick by brick, living stone by living stone, into the Church.

Out of the Lord's great compassion, He places us exactly where He wants us, serving in various ministries within His Church, allowing us to be a part of something way bigger than ourselves. In our study of 1 Peter, we are illustrating this exciting truth by building a "Spiritual House" of our own out of Legos, where each of us placed our chosen Lego piece into a foundation, forming a unique structure to remind us that we are all important to the kingdom. We all make up the body of Christ, and each of us plays a vital role in the kingdom.
