Today we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Dick Eastman — a father in the faith, a global leader in prayer and evangelism, and the beloved Chairman of the Board for World Prays.

For decades, Dick faithfully carried the Gospel to the nations and taught millions how to seek God. His visionary leadership at Every Home for Christ helped reach billions of homes, but even more powerful was the way he called generations to intimacy with Jesus.

To us, he was more than a leader. He was a mentor, a spiritual father, and a trusted voice who helped shape the vision and foundation of World Prays. His encouragement, wisdom, and unwavering belief in the power of prayer left a lasting mark on our CEO, Brian Alarid, and on each of us personally.

Dick didn’t just teach prayer — he lived it. And through his life, he showed us that when people pray, God moves.

We are deeply grateful for his legacy, and the countless lives changed because he said “yes” to God.

Urgent prayer! More than 70 Chinese Christians have been arrested and interrogated by the authorities in a sweeping police operation against church activities in eastern .

Pastors, other Christians and those exploring faith were detained during church gatherings, with others picked up from their homes or workplaces. At least 20 have since been fined.

“Our church has come to a standstill,” says a local partner. “Some have left the church, while several others are on the verge of losing their faith ... More than 80 groups within the house church movement have ceased meeting. Of the original 14 churches, only a few remain.”

“We have not seen such a massive force used to address church-related matters—this is something that warrants serious attention,” another local partner adds.

Please pray:

🔺Pray that God will comfort and strengthen all those affected by this crackdown, and that the churches will see the Holy Spirit move in powerful and precious ways amidst it.

🔺Pray that the seekers will be undeterred by these incidents, but instead feel Your presence through it all.

🔺Pray against any further crackdown on church activities in the region.

Congratulations to our Board Chairman, Dick Eastman, for the Lifetime Achievement Award he received from the Assemblies of God this month. We are truly honored by his leadership, legacy, and impartation to new generations of intercessors and evangelists. In his own words:

“Something happens when I pray that does not happen if I don’t. Therefore, if I have not prayed today, something has gone undone in God’s kingdom plans for my life, and for the lives for whom I might have prayed.”

Dedicating his life to mobilizing prayer and evangelism efforts, Dick Eastman was honored at this year’s Influence Conference.
