What We Believe:
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He came, lived on earth, died and rose again to forgive and set people free from sin. We believe it is the privilege and duty of every Christian to be in service to others for the cause of Christ, bringing healing and wholeness to the world. We offer a variety of opportunities for people to enter into a relationship with Jesus
Christ and to grow in their faith and relationships. We grow in our walk with the Lord through worship, the sacraments, study, fellowship, service and various other ways. Directions:
Lexington UMC is located just off Alabama Highway 64, approximately one-quarter mile west of the intersection of AL Hwy 64 and AL Hwy 101. From Loretto, TN: Drive south on AL Hwy 101 to the intersection with AL Hwy 64 (a four-way-stop). Turn right onto Hwy 64 and drive 0.25 miles. From Elgin Crossroads: Drive north on AL Hwy 101 to the intersection with AL Hwy 64. Turn left onto Hwy 64 and drive 0.25 miles. From Anderson, AL: Drive west on AL Hwy 64 to the intersection with AL Hwy 101. Continue driving west on Hwy 64 0.25 miles. From Greenhill: From the intersection of US Hwy 43 and AL Hwy 64, drive east on AL Hwy 64 approximately 9.8 miles. The church is on the right, just east of the intersection with County Road 136.
