Olivia, we appreciate you for being a vital part of our worship team!

Thank you to each member for using the talents God has blessed you with to play the instruments and sing. Thank you -Mrs. Brenda, Brad, Barry, Olivia, David, Charles, Karlie and Averie.

We loved hearing Averie and Karlie’s sweet voices this morning.
You are all amazing people and the congregation recognizes you all for your dedication to lead worship and praise to God every Sunday morning.

The ladies met at Cracker Barrel for dinner on August 1, 2026. We shared stories and laughter! Kathy shared a devotion from Forest Frank’s song, Someone Prayed, along with her childhood memories of the Tuesday Morning Sewing Circle at Sharp Church of God. The ladies, would quilt and prayer for their children and families in our community. Kathy said, “I am where I am because someone prayed”. She reminded us to be “the Someone who Prayed”.
The Men’s Group met at the Fellowship Hall for dinner and a devotion lead by Bro. James. They invite friends, sons, and grandsons to join in. Our men’s group can cook!They had Duck, Rice and Gravy, Corn, potatoes and green beans and Green Salad. The ladies provided cake, peach cobbler, brownies, and a chocolate dessert.
It was a great time for church outreach!

The Men’s Meeting is on August 1 at 5pm in the Fellowship Hall. The men are cooking up something special! They would appreciate anyone wanting to bring them desserts!
The ladies are going to eat at CB, leaving church at 5pm.

Celebrating the Louisiana Church of God 75th Anniversary of Camp Po***ck, July 14-18, 2026.
It was the best week reconnecting with friends throughout the state, praising God through song, listening to Rev. Roy Pepmiller bring the Word of God each evening, praying for each other, and just sharing in fellowship and love. The Legacy Awards given each morning to very deserving people who have served at Camp Po***ck through the years was a wonderful tribute. Their selfless dedication to maintaining the facilities and grounds, and serving on Ministry teams for our children, youth, and adult ministry for many years was inspiring. Congratulations to each recipient! We are looking forward to utilizing the camp for events throughout the coming year!
We are so thankful for the improvements to the Quad Cabins, pool, and Youth Building, Many thanks to those who work tirelessly to keep Camp Po***ck viable!

Christian Women’s Connection meeting this afternoon at Camp Po***ck. We served refreshments and had a Zoom call meeting with the National Church of God Director of the CWC. She shared some of the programs that CWC is doing to help women and children locally as well as Internationally. She encouraged more participation with the Louisiana congregations.

Brad and Barry Beebe both received a Legacy Award for their contributions and hard work maintaining the Camp Po***ck facilities. Barry was not there to accept his Legacy Award. Hwy. 1 Church of God has a long history of supporting Camp Po***ck. God has blessed this ministry.
