Recently David Platt shared with us from James 1:27 about caring for orphans and widows. Would you like to learn more about practical ways to do that in Loudoun County? You are invited to an interest meeting for anyone who wants to learn more about serving children and families through foster care and adoption. This past Saturday around 50 of our women met in 5 different homes around the county to fellowship together over brunch. It was wonderful to take some time out of our busy schedules to connect with one another and build relationships right where we live in the county.

Deuteronomy 6 instructs us to teach God’s Word to our kids when we sit in our houses and when we walk along the road, when we lie down and when we get up. We believe the principle here is for parents to talk with their kids about the Lord as they interact in everyday activities throughout the week.
