WE DID IT!

Amazing News! The Loudoun Board of Supervisors has unanimously approved equestrian access to Banshee Reeks Trails!

Big thanks to everyone who came out, offered public comment, and emailed your support to the BOS. Huge thanks to so many people who worked so hard and for so long to get horses and riders back into BRNP, as was originally provided in the publicly approved Master Plan for the park.

Vote on Western Loudoun rural uses (including equestrian zoning)

FINAL VOTE to open 8.3 miles of trails at Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve

On Tuesday May 5 the BOS will vote on a proposal to allow equestrian use on 8.3 miles of existing trails in Banshee Reeks. This proposal is being brought forward by Parks and Recreation with approval by the conservation easement holder, The Virginia Outdoor Foundation. PLEASE PLAN TO ATTEND to show your support!
