Trinity Lutheran Church in Centerbrook, Connecticut is excited to announce its hosting of the next Local Harmony recital on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at 2pm. This is the third in an ongoing series of concerts that benefit local charitable organizations throughout Southeastern Connecticut. As enthusiastic hosts, the congregation at Trinity Lutheran have assembled an eclectic and entertaining afternoon of music that will include RubyFruit, an all-female a ca****la group from the University of Connecticut; Hilltop Four, a barbershop quartet singing traditional favorites such as In the Good Old Summertime, My Wild Irish Rose, Coney Island Baby, After Dark, and Bill Grogan’s Goat; duets and solos from talented members of the congregation; a special appearance by members of the United States Coast Guard Band Saxophone Quartet; and the founder of the series, Bonnie Denton, playing a unique solo for euphonium and CD accompaniment. Donations will be accepted and all money raised will benefit Middlesex Habitat for Humanity of Connecticut. Trinity Lutheran Church is at 109 Main Street, Centerbrook CT.
