If you’ve been feeling exhausted… overwhelmed… or like you’re carrying more than you were ever meant to hold—this song is for you.

“Come Away” is a reminder that God is not asking you to try harder, perform better, or hold it all together.

He’s inviting you to rest.

So many of us live under the pressure of a quiet lie:
that strength means pushing through…
that faith means never slowing down…
that we have to carry it all.

But Jesus says something completely different:

“Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

This song is about laying it down—
the stress, the pressure, the control, the expectations—
and trusting that God is still good, still working, and still holding you.

Because true renewal doesn’t come from doing more…

It comes from being with Him.

“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7

“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” — Romans 12:2

“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” — Psalm 51:10

“Whoever believes in me… rivers of living water will flow from within them.” — John 7:38

If you feel empty—He fills.
If you feel overwhelmed—He gives peace.
If you feel stuck—He makes all things new.

This is your reminder:

You don’t have to carry it anymore.
You don’t have to strive.
You don’t have to prove anything.

You can come away.

And be renewed.

If this song spoke to you, share it with someone who needs rest today.
And take a moment… breathe… and sit with God.

Today is Holy Tuesday…
They circled Him in the temple
voices polished with pride
hearts set on proving Him wrong
And the questions came.
Not soft ones
Not curious ones
But sharp
measured
meant to trap Him
“By what authority…?”
“Should we pay…?”
“What happens in the resurrection…?”
They weren’t asking to understand
they were asking to win
But He answered anyway
Not just with words
but with truth that cut deeper than their questions
Because Jesus doesn’t just respond
He reveals
He told stories that exposed hearts
About tenants who rejected the very one sent to save them
About invitations ignored
About people so close to truth
yet unwilling to step into it
And the crowd listened
Some leaned in
some walked away
some grew more determined to silence Him
Because truth does that
It softens
or it hardens
There is no middle ground when Jesus speaks
And then He said it plainly
Love the Lord your God
with all your heart
with all your soul
with all your mind
And love your neighbor as yourself
Not part of you
not when it’s easy
not when it’s convenient
All
Because religion will ask for appearance
but Jesus asks for everything
And I wonder
Would I have stood there
quietly nodding along
or would I have felt exposed
uncomfortable
convicted by words I couldn’t argue with
Because today
on this Holy Tuesday
it doesn’t feel like a distant story
It feels like He’s still asking
Do you really want truth
or just something that agrees with you
Do you want to know Me
or just understand enough to feel in control
And it’s easy to say we would have chosen Him
But the truth is
we still answer that question every day
In what we hold onto
In what we avoid
In what we let Him touch
Because Jesus is not interested in debates
He is after hearts
Fully
honestly
completely His
And the same voice
that answered every trap with truth
is the same voice
that would soon fall silent
on a cross
for you
So today
lean in
Don’t just ask
to test Him
Ask
to know Him
And when He answers
let it change you
because it will

Holy Week : Monday
The day Jesus cursed the fig tree and flipped the tables.
On His way to the temple, Jesus saw a fig tree full of leaves. From a distance, it looked alive.
Healthy. Fruitful.
But when He got close… there was no fruit.
So He cursed it.
But this wasn’t about a tree. It was about a warning.
In that environment, a fig tree with leaves was supposed to have fruit. Leaves were the signal.
The evidence that something more was there.
But this tree had the appearance… without the substance. It was advertising something it didn’t actually produce.
Then Jesus walked into the temple… and found the exact same thing.
A place that looked holy on the outside : rituals, structure, tradition…
But underneath? Corruption. Exploitation.
A system that was making it harder, not easier, for people to encounter God.
So He flipped the tables.
Not because He was emotionally uncontrolled — but because He was exposing something and righteously angry.
Today we tend to reduce this moment to, “Jesus would flip that table…” when we see something we don’t like or agree with in someone else’s life.
But Jesus wasn’t reacting to inconvenience, disagreement, or culture.
He was confronting corruption that looked like God on the outside… but led people away from Him on the inside. Ring any bells?
The fig tree and the temple were saying the same thing, giving the same warning.
God is not looking for appearance. He’s looking for fruit and a heart that knows Him.
Not just leaves. Not a performance. Not a perfect image.
Fruit. Heart. Connection.
So the real question for this Monday asks us is this: Are we producing fruit in our lives… or just leaves?
Have we built a life that appears close to God…
but is missing true connection with Him?
Before we start pointing at tables around us… Jesus is pointing at the root in our own temple.
Our focus today is this: making sure that there’s real fruit in our own lives when He comes looking. So that our tables don’t need flipping.
Rest assured though, Jesus doesn’t just flip them. He restores them too.
