We’re honored to welcome Major General Bryan Watson as a speaker at our Good Work One-Day Leadership Conference!

Bryan Watson served in the United States Army for over 34 years as a Combat Engineer. A graduate of West Point Class of 1982, he attended Airborne, Ranger, and Sapper School and has led units at almost every level within our military. He is a combat veteran of Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom, and Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. His most notable executive assignments are as the 91st Commandant of Army Engineers, Head Engineer in Afghanistan, and Director of US Military Operations in Africa. Bryan retired as a Major General in 2016. Today, Bryan continues to serve as a Senior Mentor for Army Engineers and has found a new passion in using his military experience to help businesses from all sectors around the world develop better leaders. His life motto is “Lead to Serve” and he holds himself to that standard.

Mark serves as Senior Pastor of The Glade Church in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, where he provides leadership through preaching, disciple-making, leadership development, and strategic vision. Passionate about cultivating healthy leaders and healthy churches, Mark regularly coaches pastors, ministry leaders, and teams, helping them lead with clarity, conviction, and Christ-centered purpose. His heart for leadership development extends beyond the local church as he invests in leaders across a variety of ministry settings. Mark and his wife, Christine, recently celebrated 25 years of marriage and consider raising their two sons, Brock and Eli, one of life’s greatest joys.

In case you missed it, we created a prayer calendar to guide you through covering this first month of school in prayer.

Wilson County has two public school systems, several private schools, as well as Cumberland University. As these schools educate students, they are also influencing the next generation of fathers, mothers, friends, neighbors, citizens, and community leaders.

We trust the Lord to show favor on every parent, grandparent, and educator, as well as every student. We pray that in every act required to educate students, they will experience God’s favor.

Everyone’s Wilson is honored to introduce Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee as a valued partner in Wilson County.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee works to provide youth facing adversity with the guidance they need to help them succeed by matching them with an adult mentor. They create professionally supported mentoring programs to develop positive relationships between a Big and Little that have a lasting impact on a young person’s life.
