When I tell you, my GOD is good! A few weeks ago, I would not have felt good enough to even have this experience with him. Senior year! My young man has been doing His thing! Words can't express how proud I am of him. This year has been a challenge for my family, but we are warriors, and with GOD'S grace and love, along with the love and support of my community, WE ARE GOING TO WIN. In fact, WE WILL WIN! MY FAITH TELLS ME THAT I'M COMING BACK STRONGER AND BETTER THAN I WAS BEFORE!

It has been 1 1/2 months since you took that trip. I still have a hard time believing that you are gone. It blows my mind that I can never hug your neck, hear you sing to me on my birthday (Stevie Wonder), see your beautiful smile, hear you laugh WAYYYY to loud, and MOST IMPORTANTLY call you whenever Sickle Cell was whopping my ass so that you could pray for me. LOL... I use to tell her that she was a spiritual thug. 😂She was a thug in real life, though. You should hear how she would go to WAR in the spirit!

My mother was one of the strongest women I knew. Ask me where I get my grit from, hands down. It would be her. My mother was such a beautiful soul. 😍 A beautiful soul lost way to soon. This was a tragedy that we never saw coming. TBH... OUR RELATIONSHIP WAS ON STRUGGLE FOR THE LAST FEW YEARS. GOD MADE IT SO THAT WE WERE ABLE TO TALK and I was able to clear up a few things and apologize. I'm grateful for that. MOM... YOU ARE NOW AN ANCESTOR AND TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY 😇 ANGEL! RIP!!!🥳🤍💯

As we travel our journey we come across lots of people. Most are to stay only for a season. Few stick, few are genuine, and few you have the opportunity to call FRIEND. ALL should be taken as a learning experience 22 years ago came into my life as a supervisor. He helped to guide me professionally and relationally then. This is a shout out to one of my favorite people in the entire world🤩! She not mine but in a different life she was mine. In this life I'll go to war behind her. I witnessed this fight up close, with ringside seats to this event. This fight was strong! When she got knocked down she got back up. When she found herself winded, she caught her breath and got back in the ring. 🥳 💪🏾

She WoN! 12 ROUNDS TKO! SHE NEVER FOLDED! I watch handled her business! 🤗You have so much GRIT AND PERSEVERANCE. Those are ingredients for success. SOMETIMES It may feel as though you have to work a little harder than everyone else. Its ok... just play the cards in your hand to the best of your ability. YOU GOT THIS BLACK GIRL! Well... We have come up on THAT part of the year. We see these students off into the next season of their life. It has been an absolute pleasure knowing and partnering with parents and students to ensure success of our students. Covid cancelled a lot but these few endured. Next stop for some... HIGHER EDUCATION! I'LL Have a few doctors in my life 😁. My prayers for these particular young people is that they take time in this journey of life to LIVE, LAUGH, AND LOVE GOD AND PEOPLE. Do for someone else what we have done for you. EACH ONE TEACH ONE. I'm excited for your future. .nia and I'm extreamely proud. I love each of you!
