Latty Zion Baptist Church

Good afternoon, everyone.

Pastor wanted to let everyone know that October, November, and December are among the busiest months of the year. Because of this, our Wednesday night Bible Study podcast will be on hold until January.

However, Saturday Bible Study will continue as scheduled at 10:00 a.m.

Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to resuming the podcast in the new year. God bless! 🙏

Most people taste this cornbread first.

Then you tell them there’s a whole cup of mayonnaise in it.

That order matters.

BETTER THAN HOMEMADE CORNBREAD 🌽

Mix 2 boxes corn muffin mix with 1 cup mayonnaise, 2 eggs, 6 tablespoons melted butter and ⅔ cup milk or buttermilk. Stir only until combined, spread into a greased 9×13-inch pan and bake at 400°F for about 25–35 minutes, until deeply golden and a toothpick comes out clean.

The mayonnaise disappears completely.

No mayo flavor. No strange texture.

It just leaves behind that soft, rich middle and those buttery golden edges that ordinary boxed cornbread never seems to have.

Some families would consider mayonnaise in cornbread completely wrong.

Those are usually the people who need to taste a square before hearing what’s in it.
