For anyone who wants to follow along and do the ritual with me tomorrow, I am going to be using the following items: (in case you want to use them too)

1. Any items for cleansing beforehand, if preferred
2. Any items for calling the elements & deities, if preferred
3. Any deity or ancestor offerings, if preferred
4. Candles, any size/color/etc
5. Pot & soil
6. Container of water
7. Seeds, any kind you prefer
8. Green candle
9. Yellow candle
10. Purple candle
11. Milk & honey

Don't forget that Sunday is the sabbat Ostara!

We are doing a fb live ritual Sunday at 5 pm for all interested.

It's most likely going to rain at least part of the weekend. But it is starting to warm up, so be sure to find a way to celebrate, if you follow this sabbat! Some people are prepping/starting gardens. Some are going to take walks or have cookouts. If it rains, collecting some of the rainwater would be a good idea, if you like doing water magic. Personally, I (Irena) will probably take a walk and also sit in my sunroom with the windows open. Watching my cats eye up the wild life is pretty amusing.

Happy Valentine's day to those who celebrate.
This is a good time to practice self-love.
Some ideas can be to practice positive affirmations, take some time out of the day or week for yourself, do some self-care like taking a cleansing bath or have a spa day, or treat yourself to something special.

Happy Imbolc, everyone! May the Lady Brighid bless you with the tools to accomplish your goals this year. May She also bless us with the ability to create and heal.

It might be freezing cold right now, but keep an eye out for signs of spring. It's not super noticeable yet, but the days are getting longer!

Just a reminder that Atasia did make the event page for the Imbolc rite, which will be held over zoom this Sunday night 7 pm. We're sorry plans were made kind of last minute. We're gonna try to make sure that from now on, things are planned out ahead of time to make it easier for everyone.

TWO ANNOUNCEMENTS:

1) I added a new admin to the page: Atasia Hardin She's a fantastic local who has been very helpful and accepted this role to aid me with the page while I'm going to school. This should help with making the page more active again.

2) We ARE going to do an Imbolc rite. Atasia is going to host it via Zoom. I'll be there as well. It will be next weekend (the 28th to the 30th). I'm just waiting on verification from her which day we're doing it, so keep a lookout for more details shortly. And I'm sorry this is kind of short notice. I procrastinated a little bit. But with her help, things should be easier and more on time!

This is a tutorial on how to make a Brighid's Cross out of pipe cleaners. (You can also use reed/straw; I just had easier access to these.) You will need at least 22 pipe cleaners and a pair of scissors.

This would be a good Imbolc project for children! Happy (early) Imbolc!
